Coincidentally, the Germany-wide Astronomy Day will also take place during the Science & Fiction Festival. Amateur astronomers will be showing "jewels in the sky" on this day. The observers' group of the observatory of the Deutsches Museum will be on hand:
* Live shows in the museum’s planetarium at 12 noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
* in fine weather on the sundial terrace: from 12 to 16 hrs.
Sun observation, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. planetary, lunar and star observation (no entrance fee)
* Planetarium show “Ausgerechnet – Unser Universum” at 19:30, 21:00 and 22:30 hrs.
Tickets for the planetarium shows are available at €5 each at the museum information desk.
For the festival, the observers' group is contributing a bet in keeping with the motto "Dark Matter". And they are offering an exclusive guided tour of the planetarium and the observatory as prizes, which will be awarded at the Scrap Robot Contest Hebocon.We hope for clear skies!
